An easy and delicious dinner ready in less than 15 min. Perfectly seasoned, 1. melt-in-your-mouth tender steak and potatoes are boiled on the stove.

2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (180°C). Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.

Place the steaks on the oven grill and cook until golden brown and slightly charred, 4 to 5 minutes.

3. Boil or Place the potatoes in a single layer onto one side of the prepared baking sheet. Add olive oil, garlic, and Italian seasoning; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Gently toss to combine. Until golden brown and crisp, tossing occasionally.

cook potatoes or boil them for 3-4 minutes before baking.

1 sirloin steaks, patted dry

1 bowl full of baby potatoes (we used red and yellow)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon garlic powder (or dried minced garlic)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning


Option

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder

1 teaspoon crushed chili pepper flakes

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan, for garnish

2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves, for garnish

1 medium yellow onion, sliced

1 medium red onion, sliced

Butter

Oil

Sugar (optional)

Balsamic vinegar (optional)

To make the caramelized onion, cook sliced onion in a skillet over medium heat with a little butter and oil. After 10 minutes, add a dash of balsamic vinegar, a ladle of vegetable stock, and a pinch of sugar if desired, and cook, stirring and scraping the brown bits from time to time for 20-30 minutes more, until onion get a rich brown color. Transfer caramelized onion in a bowl and set aside (you can keep it refrigerated in an airtight container for one week).
