Two Potato Meat Corn Flakes Casserole Recipies #40
The meatloaf forms the crust around savory, mashed potatoes in this main dish pie.
Recipe One
Ingredients:
2 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes® cereal
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/3 cup fat-free milk
1 pound lean ground beef
2 eggs
2 cups seasoned stiff mashed potatoes
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted
1/2 cup finely chopped American or mozzarella cheese
Paprika.
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of the KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES
cereal, salt, pepper, mustard, and milk. Beat well. Add ground beef. Mix until
combined. Gently press mixture evenly in bottom and on side of 9-inch pie
pan to form crust. or a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly. Add potatoes, onion, and parsley
flakes. Mix until combined. Spread potato mixture evenly in meat shell. Place
pie on a baking sheet.
3. Bake at 350° F for about 35 minutes or until done (160 degrees F). While the pie is baking, combine the remaining
crumbs with margarine. Set aside.
4. Remove pie from oven. Sprinkle evenly with cheese and top with crumbs
mixture. Bake about 10 minutes longer or until cheese starts to melt. Serve
hot sprinkled with paprika.

Recipe Two
Potato Corn Flakes Casserole
Ingredients:
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp butter
2 small chopped onion
green onions
1 tsp chopped ginger
250-gm ground beef
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
300-gm boiled potatoes
1 cup ap flour
¾ tsp salt
mozzarella cheese
Optional = ¾ tsp red chili
Instructions:
1. chop & Saute onions in butter and cooking oil
2. Add chopped ginger, ground beef, salt, red chili, and pepper
Wash and skin your potatoes and cut in one inch then cut in quarters and boil for 20 min.
Shred fresh mozzarella cheese
and chop up the green onions in 1/4 inch thickness
Mix all the above ingredients together in a bowl
After mixing it place inside a glass tray then add enough Corn flakes to cover the top of the dish completely before throwing it in the oven.
Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown shows on sides of dish for at least 1 hour
