Next add some fresh herbs, dried oregano And next add-in is some onion powder. Next, add some garlic powder. then add some dried thyme Then add some black pepper. 3. start mixing your chicken up and Coat everything Well, with the oil. 4. next take a cast-iron skillet. If you have one, if you don't have one, you can also use a sheet pan and you can line this sheet pan up with parchment paper. It'll work as well. 5. Place your chicken in the skillet, skin side down, This is going to help us crisp up the skin. 6. The next step is to set your oven at 425 degrees and also set your timer for at least 30 minutes. Cook it for about 30 minutes until the meat is partly cooked to 155F. DO NOT EAT IT AT THIS TEMP. IT IS NOT DONE COOKING TILL THE NEXT STEP When IT IS 165F. 7. And lastly we're going to take it out and flip it over. To Finish cooking it until the meat is 165F. Chicken must be 165f for it to be safe to eat. Next, I'm making some rice to go with our baked chicken. 1. In an oven pan add some chicken broth, some rice, and some onion in about 3 tablespoons And black pepper. add some chicken flavor. Then I have some paprika, blend up everything together. Now, once you got everything Blended up, I want you to take some heavy-duty aluminum foil, go ahead and wrap it up. And then I want you to toss this right in the oven with your baked chicken. Make the mushroom rice mix. Next with another Skillet if you have one, I want you to 1. take at least about 3 tablespoons of butter, melted down on the hot skillet. we want these mushrooms to be buttery. 2. Add some chopped garlic here. 3. Then add the mushrooms, you can use whatever kind of mushrooms you like for this recipe. shitake mushrooms, button-up, sliced mushrooms, or whatever. So I'm just using your general mushrooms. 4. add this to our rice. 5. add some black pepper and salt to flavor. 6. Add Some fresh or dried chives. once you've done with your mushrooms, Move them to the side, and now just as the 45 minutes is up for our chicken. 7. Go ahead and flip them over. once you turn your chicken, put it back into the oven and allow it to Brown up. I want that skin to be crispy. Now your rice is pretty much done as well. 8. Take a fork, start fluffing up your rice. Once fluffed up you want to pour Your mushroom mixture and toss it up in there. mix up Your mushroom mixture with your rice. 9.
